Smart and Secure Solution for Home Supervision
Nattugla, developed by Easymeeting AS in Tromsø, is a secure, user-friendly solution enabling healthcare staff to conduct digital supervision without unnecessarily disturbing users. The camera activates only when healthcare personnel connect, transmitting encrypted video and audio without storing recordings. Approved by Norsk Helsenett, it includes built-in 4G for easy installation.
Already used in over 100 Norwegian municipalities, Nattugla supports safe and efficient monitoring of users with dementia, fall risks, or chronic illnesses. A 2022 study in the Journal of the American Medical Association showed Nattugla reduced falls by 30% and home visits by 20%.
Quality and Cost-Effectiveness Secured the Contract
In the tender process, Nattugla was rated best for both quality and price. Alerts and supervision will be managed via the Hepro Respons digital platform, serving as a unified welfare technology solution for the region.
The agreement enhances safety for residents in the 48 Swedish municipalities while enabling healthcare services to use resources more effectively and sustainably.
