Privacy Policy for Norway Health Tech (NHT)
This privacy policy explains how and why Norway Health Tech (NHT) collects, uses, and processes your personal data.

We only process personal data that is necessary to communicate with members, participants, and stakeholders. This may include:
- Name, email address, and place of work (for newsletters and general information)
- Phone number (for contact persons at member organizations)
- Information from event registrations
Personal data is used for purposes such as sending newsletters, event invitations, and other relevant information from NHT.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Norwegian legislation and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller is NHT, represented by CEO Lena Nymo Helli.
Sharing of Personal Data
Personal data is only shared with third parties when necessary and appropriate, for example:
- Public support agencies for statistics and analysis
- Recognized research institutions for research purposes
- Analytics companies working on behalf of NHT
- Event co-organizers for contacting registered participants

The legal basis for processing personal data is your consent. You provide consent by registering for newsletters, events, or by becoming a member of the cluster. You may withdraw your consent at any time via our website.
Data Storage and Deletion
Personal data is stored in a cloud-based Salesforce CRM system under a data processing agreement that ensures secure handling. If you withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted from our systems within one month. Personal data is also deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected – for example, after a newsletter subscription or event ends.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we have stored about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Restrict the processing or withdraw your consent
- Request data portability
Requests can be submitted through the contact form on our website. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe your rights have not been respected.
