Health technology company Vitalthings has entered a strategic partnership with Atea to make contactless health monitoring available to more municipalities across Norway. The collaboration aims to accelerate the implementation of digital supervision solutions that can ease the workload of healthcare personnel and enhance safety for users.

Vitalthings’ technology enables continuous monitoring of vital data – without the use of cameras or the need for physical check-ins. The solutions are designed to support healthcare workers at a time when municipalities are responsible for an increasing number of users with complex needs.

– This agreement allows for significant distribution of our solutions, says Heidi Blengsli Aabel, Chief Commercial Officer at Vitalthings. Our goal is to support municipalities and help them manage the demanding transformation they are facing.

Atea views the partnership as an important step toward strengthening local healthcare services. With framework agreements in place with more than 140 municipalities, Atea and Vitalthings will be able to reach broadly and contribute specialized expertise in continuous health monitoring.

– Vitalthings provides unique, medically certified solutions that enable safe and efficient measurement of vital signs. With this partnership, we are one step closer to our goal of helping municipalities double their healthcare and care capacity, says Endre Valdersnes, Director of eHealth and Welfare Technology at Atea.
