About the project
Nordic Health Connect is a project initiated by Norway Health Tech with Akershus County Municipality as the main financier. The goal is to strengthen the international competitiveness of health enterprises in Akershus and Norway by increasing exports and improving access to Nordic health markets.
Objectives
Nordic Health Connect aims to
- Enhance the competitiveness of health companies through increased exports and market access in the Nordic region.
- Establish long-term and structured collaborations between healthcare ecosystems in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
- Improve business understanding and insights into the Nordic healthcare markets.
- Attract capital, talent, and companies to the Akershus region.
Aktiviteter
To achieve these objectives, the project will:
- Build and further develop strategic networks in the Nordic region.
- Organize activities for entrepreneurs and growth companies from Akershus and Norway.
- Facilitate valuable meeting places between Norwegian and Nordic healthcare actors.
- Develop Nordic collaboration arenas between academia, industry, and the public sector.
- Establish international partnership programs to attract professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs.

- Investors and research environments.
- Academia and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Akershus, Greater Oslo, and the Nordic region.
