About the project
Health Technology for Defence and Emergency Preparedness is a pre-project designed to explore opportunities at the intersection of health technology, defence, and emergency preparedness. Through mapping, dialogue, and shared meeting arenas, the project aims to build knowledge, relationships, and insights as a foundation for further initiatives.
Mål
Health Technology for Defence and Emergency Preparedness is a pre-project that explores opportunities at the intersection of health technology, defence, and emergency preparedness in Akershus. The initiative is driven by increased geopolitical instability, higher demands for preparedness, and the need for improved coordination between civilian and military actors.
Through mapping, dialogue, and shared meeting arenas, the project aims to build knowledge, relationships, and insights as a foundation for further initiatives.
The project is led by Norway Health Tech and carried out in collaboration with stakeholders from healthcare, defence, emergency preparedness, academia, and industry.
Aktiviteter
The pre-project will be carried out from January to June 2026 and consists of the following main activities:
- Mapping of key stakeholders and needs within defence, emergency preparedness, and health technology
- Facilitating dialogue and building a shared understanding between healthcare, defence, and emergency preparedness actors
