Resource Group Finland: Get an overview of the Finnish market and the Lapland region

Finland is a natural next market for many Norwegian health technology companies. NHT’s new resource group for Finland brings together companies that want to learn more about the Finnish market, build networks and find the right entry points. At this first meeting, we will give an overview of the market and show how Arctic test and development environments can help develop and validate solutions for sparsely populated regions. The group will provide insight into how the market works, access to relevant stakeholders and an opportunity to share experiences with other companies.

At the first meeting, Vilma Portti, Project Manager, and Marko Vatanen, Project Manager and Senior Lecturer, from Lapland Testbed will present the Finnish market as a whole and the Lapland region.

Lapland Testbed brings together the test and development environments of Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Lapin ammattikorkeakoulu) and acts as a hands-on research and development partner for companies in health and welfare technology. Their services include technology testing, user experience and service design, simulation hospitals, functional capacity assessment and testing in Arctic conditions. Testing can take place in Rovaniemi, Kemi and Tornio, or in real service environments across Lapland through their partner network.
