Health2B Open: Future Healthcare Services – What Is the Role of Industry?

Health2B: Bygger bro mellom det offentlige og private

About the event

Welcome to Health2B Open on the theme: the future of healthcare services – what is the role of industry?

Description

The future of healthcare is being shaped right now. In the face of rapid technological development, new global value chains and increasing pressure on public services, Norway stands at a crossroads. Are we moving towards stronger national governance of public innovation, greater individual choice and private innovation, and/or a globalisation of healthcare services?

In collaboration with Halogen, the Norwegian Directorate of Health has developed three future scenarios for the Norwegian healthcare system. Based on these, we invite you to a Health2B Open session to explore the role of industry and how supplier collaboration must evolve in order to succeed with innovation. The question is not whether industry will influence the future of healthcare — but how we ensure that collaboration between public actors, Norwegian scaleups/SMEs and international data-driven platform companies actually leads to more prevention, smarter treatment and improved population health within the framework of the welfare model.

At Health2B Open, we invite stakeholders from the public, private and non-profit sectors to explore:

• What needs do we see for supplier development and collaboration?
• Which business models can best support innovation speed, sustainability and a stronger focus on preventive healthcare?
• What role can Norwegian actors play in the global value chains that are now emerging?
