The theme of this year’s Healthworld is safety and efficiency. There are several examples in the Norwegian Health Service where poor security and bad routines have led to failure, whether it is patient or privacy. Efficiency is obviously a bi-effect of a better IT strategy, and it’s exciting in artificial intelligence.
Healthworld 2018 aims to lift the glance towards overall strategy. There will be experts in security and efficiency, including other cases from England where new IT strategies have led to increased patient safety, savings and a more efficient working day.
