Monica Andersen has been Head of the Department for Welfare Innovation in the Health and Care Administration in the City of Copenhagen since 2016. The department works with both welfare technology, new services to citizens and new ways of organizing the work in the Health and Care Administration. Prior to joining the department Monica worked in the National Centre for Public Innovation from its establishment in 2014 to 2016. Monica holds a Master in Political Science and has previously worked in the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority and Statistics Denmark.
