WeissTech AS develops and delivers Omhu, a digital administrative journal system specifically designed for the health and care sector. Originally, Omhu was created to meet the needs of adapted services and User-Directed Personal Assistance (BPA). The customer base includes both public and private providers of health and care services.

The idea for Omhu emerged from the founder’s own experience after working in the sector for many years. He felt both the frustrations and the serious consequences of the lack of good digital systems tailored to individuals with lifelong service needs. After an extensive search for suitable solutions, the decision was made to develop one internally. The adventure began in 2015, and WeissTech AS was founded in 2016. The first version of Omhu was developed in 2017. Since January 2018, this has been a full-time endeavor for both the founder, Philip, and his childhood friend, Vegard, who serves as the managing director. The company now employs 8 people, most of them located in Valdres.

Omhu is a versatile tool that can be used by anyone providing health and care services, whether in the private, nonprofit, or public sector. The primary goal is to ensure professionally sound services with a focus on patient safety and efficient collaboration.
