Sebastian Cornelius Retter

Attorney-at-law Sebastian Cornelius Retter has been practicing as a lawyer since 2020 and has been a partner at Forvis Mazars (formerly Mazars) since 2022. Within the Healthcare practice group, he and his team are responsible for the area of Medical Devices & Digital Health. In this role, he advises market participants, particularly manufacturers and healthcare professionals, as well as universities, hospitals, associations, ministries, authorities, and consulting firms. A key focus of his advisory work is market access for manufacturers of medical devices and in vitro diagnostics, as well as providers of healthcare services in the regulated market, with particular attention to reimbursement within the statutory social insurance system. Attorney Retter possesses extensive expertise in medical law and has, among other things, provided long-standing advice to physicians and dentists, professional practice groups, medical care centers, and hospitals at the interface with the outpatient sector. In addition, he has recognized experience in insurance law, including authorship in the VVG Praxiskommentar Schwintowski Brömmelmeyer.

Marina Schulte

Dr. Marina Schulte has been a Salary Partner at Forvis Mazars since 2025 and is responsible for the Healthcare division within our law firm. Prior to that, she worked at several well-established commercial law firms. Dr. Schulte has a strong focus on regulatory digital health and statutory physician law. She advises our clients on all matters relating to reimbursement eligibility, approval and licensing issues, liability matters, and medical professional law. She also has particular expertise in advising on cross-border telemedicine platform models. She is a member of the ARGE Medical Law.
