About the event

Health2B and Norway Health Tech invite you to Health2B Open on “The Way Forward: AI and Patient Records” on 28 January 2026.

Description

Speech-to-text technology has rightly received significant attention over the past year, given its potential for resource savings and improved patient interactions. The use of AI in patient records also offers opportunities to support clinical coding and to interact with medical documentation in faster and more effective ways.

In December 2024, South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority (HSØ) and the City of Oslo hosted a Health2B Open to build shared insight into the technological opportunity space for using AI-based text analysis in clinical documentation. Since then, many general practitioners have adopted speech-to-text solutions, and the technology is now rapidly being introduced across specialist and municipal health services. Several health trusts and municipalities have tested solutions, and there are ongoing procurements, development efforts, and discussions regarding regulatory status.

We therefore invite you to a new Health2B Open on 28 January 2026 to share experiences to date, gather assessments from needs owners on different approaches, and jointly explore the way forward.

The meeting is open to all and free of charge. We hope for strong engagement and constructive discussion throughout the day. Places are limited. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you let us know.

The meeting will be held at Health2B’s premises at Forskningsparken. For those unable to attend in person, it will also be possible to follow the meeting digitally.
