As Europe moves toward the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS), the Nordics have a unique opportunity to build on decades of collaboration, trusted registries, and world-leading health data assets. At the same time, Norwegian healthcare institutions are exploring new ways to unlock value from health data while ensuring privacy, security, and public trust.

  • Opportunities and challenges related to the European Health Data Space
  • Privacy-preserving analytics and lessons learned from NHS England's Federated Data Platform
  • How health data can accelerate evidence generation and innovation in the life sciences sector
  • The role of OMOP and common data models in enabling scalable research
  • Real-world data applications that create clinical value for patients and healthcare systems
  • Building a more connected Nordic health data ecosystem capable of delivering impact at both national and European levels
