What is IncidentShare?
IncidentShare is Bliksund's solution for secure real-time video. The solution is used today by emergency call centres, ambulance services, fire and rescue services, police, and hospitals in more than 30 countries.
Solution IncidentShare?
IncidentShare enables live video sharing between healthcare professionals in real time. Paramedics can connect doctors via video directly from the ambulance, and emergency call centres (AMK) can receive live video from callers, drones, and vehicle-mounted cameras. The solution is also used for video consultation between hospital departments and prehospital services.
Effect IncidentShare?
The healthcare professional sends a link via SMS from the IncidentShare app. The recipient opens the link on their mobile phone, and a secure video call is established instantly. No app, no login, and no technical setup required on the recipient's side. The solution is GDPR-compliant, and calls can be logged and recorded when required.
Benefits IncidentShare?
Emergency call centre operators can see what is happening on scene in real time, rather than basing their assessment solely on the caller's verbal description. This enables more accurate triage, better resource allocation, and faster initiation of measures during the emergency call itself. In Vestre Viken's ambulance service, video changed the clinical assessment in almost half of cases, and the treatment in nearly 30 percent. Many patients avoided unnecessary transport because a doctor could visually confirm that an ambulance trip was not needed. The result is better decision support for both emergency call centres and prehospital personnel, more efficient use of resources, and patients reaching the right treatment faster.
