What is CalproSmart® Office POC test?
CalproSmart Office is a rapid point-of-care fecal calprotectin test intended to be used in patient near settings. It provides fast and reliable fecal calprotectin results to support the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease, including Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease. It can also support differential diagnostic assessments when distinguishing between IBD and IBS. The app provides intuitive instructions for capturing and submitting the result, and a separate timer is required during the incubation step.

Benefits CalproSmart® Office POC test?
Research shows that calprotectin levels rise 3 to 6 months before clinical symptoms appear, which allows earlier detection of inflammation at a sub-clinical stage. This proactive approach supports clearer follow up and more efficient patient pathways. CalproSmart® Office point-of-care test brings this capability directly into the clinic as a true patient‑near test, providing quantitative results on site without relying on external laboratory schedules. This supports faster triage and helps reduce unnecessary return visits by enabling more timely adjustments to care plans. CalproSmart Office requires no instrument investment, no assay validation and no service contracts, making it a simple plug and play option that integrates naturally into busy clinical workflows.
