What is Bliksund EWA?
Bliksund EWA is a complete digital ambulance record (ePCR) for the prehospital service. The solution is in use by ambulance services in several countries and has been in continuous operation for more than 10 years.

EWA gives paramedics a digital tool for documenting patient information from scene to hospital. The solution covers the entire prehospital workflow, including triage, vital signs, medication management, and patient reporting. EWA can also display real-time data on incoming patients on a monitor in the emergency department, enabling the reception team to prepare before the patient arrives.
Effect Bliksund EWA?
Paramedics register patient data directly in EWA on a tablet or mobile device. The information is updated in real time and can be shared with emergency call centres and receiving hospitals. At Orkdal Hospital, this information is displayed on a real-time monitor in the emergency department, including triage data, sepsis criteria, infectious diseases, and estimated arrival time. The solution also works offline and is cloud-based with secure storage of patient data.
