Description

Explore the Danish Market for Health and Welfare Technology
This program offers a unique opportunity to connect with municipalities across Denmark. You’ll gain valuable insights into how Danish municipalities work with potential suppliers, what their needs are, and the cultural differences between doing business in Denmark and Norway.

Program Details:

  • Main program in Denmark: September 9–12, 2025
(including bus travel from Copenhagen via Funen and Aarhus to Aarhus Airport)
  • Digital sessions: Before and after the Denmark visit
  • Additional opportunity: Participation in a twin event hosted by the Danish Embassy in Oslo on September 23
  • Registration deadline: June 20, 2025
  • Participation fee: NOK 20,000* per company (max. 2 participants per company)
*Prices exclude VAT. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Why join?
Denmark faces major challenges due to an aging population, an increase in chronic diseases, and a shortage of healthcare personnel—especially in elderly care. As a result, there is a growing demand for solutions and technologies that can save time and reduce the need for manual labor.

This program gives you the opportunity to pitch your solution directly to Danish municipalities and establish initial connections in an attractive and demanding market.

What are Danish municipalities looking for?
They are particularly interested in solutions that:

  • Free up staff time and resources
  • Streamline administrative workflows
  • Help citizens remain in their own homes as long as possible

Examples of relevant technologies:

  • Automation and Artificial Intelligence
  • Monitoring and sensor solutions
  • Training and rehabilitation technologies
  • Telemedicine
  • Medication distribution (e.g., robots)
  • Safety and security technology
  • Solutions for self-management and independence
  • Route planning
  • Documentation systems
  • Virtual meeting platforms
  • Internal resource management
  • Decision support tools
  • Speech-to-text solutions
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Smart hospital beds

The program is developed by Innovation Norway in collaboration with the Danish Embassy in Oslo.
All participants will receive a short market insight briefing prior to the program start.
