Thomas Hansen is a research professor with 20 years of experience with research on psychological well-being, mental health, and loneliness among older adults. He is a psychologist by training. Most of his work, including his PhD on quality of life and aging, was carried out at Oslo Metropolitan University, but about a year ago he started working at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health in Oslo. Here, in the department of Mental Health, he has used longitudinal data and explore how older adults have handled the coronavirus pandemic.
