One of the next Norwegian unicorns is expected to be in HealthTech. In this event, Abelia and FIN – The Association for Innovation Companies will focus on what it takes to go from 0 to a billion dollars in health tech. We will explore the experiences of successful scale-ups, provide a toolbox for scaling and focus on facilitating policy for an ecosystem for growth.

On Tuesday the 27th of September, five speakers will talk about the future of the health tech industry.

The five speakers are as following:

Benedicte Grytte Dahl

Benedicte is the general manager of Kry, a health app that has quickly become one of Europe’s largest providers of digital health consultations.

Gudleik Njå

Gudleik is the CEO of the Laerdal AS, the holding company of the Laerdal family group of companies, and main responsible for its investment activities through Laerdal Invest and Laerdal Million Lives Fund.

Kjartan Melberg

Kjartan is the Chief Investment Officer of DSD. He holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering from NTNU and is also a Certified Financial Analyst (AFA/CEFA).

Jørn Mikalsen

Jørn is an entrepreneur who has started several technology companies. These companies deliver service innovation to the health sector. He has a degree from the Norwegian Institute of Information Technology (NIHT).

Lena Nymo Helli

Lena is a pharmacist with more than 25 years’ experience from international pharmaceutical industry. She has worked in many phases of the product life cycle from R&D to sales and market access. She is now the CEO of Norway Health Tech.
