Business opportunities in the framework of Norway Grants 2014-2021. Poland in focus.

The EEA Grants and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics.

 

One of the key areas of support is the so called “Business development, Innovation and SMEs”. The Norway Grants Program will be soon open in Poland and Welfare technology/Ambient Assisted living is one of the topics to be addressed. The first Call for Proposals is expected to be published in the autumn. The total amount available for projects on welfare technology is Euro 18.700.000. Bilateral partnership projects (between Polish and Norwegian private entities) will be encouraged. The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) is appointed to be the Program Operator. Innovation Norway is the Program Partner on the Norwegian side.

The main objective of the event is to promote the “Business development, Innovation and SMEs” Program in Poland, inform about business opportunities between Polish and Norwegian businesses in the framework of the program. The Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their project ideas and the technologies and services they can offer. In addition, B2B-meeting will be organized.
