Retscreen AS has developed and offers regular retinal examinations to detect retinopathy in patients with diabetes mellitus according to national and international guidelines. The system is cloud-based within the Norwegian Health Network and interacts with all health actors via NHN.
Retscreen AS is defined as a medical outpatient clinic with all associated functions. The system is built around a central unit that manages all aspects of the patient process, as well as collaborative decentralized units that collect data.
