LHL is a member-based and non-profit patient organization with close to 54,000 members and approx. 240 local teams, 10 interest groups and 11 networks across the country.

LHL works for people with heart, vascular and lung disease, allergies, stroke, aphasia and their relatives. They are all over the country, with local teams, interest groups and stroke networks.

LHL is party-politically independent and ideologically neutral and encourages diversity. LHL is an open and inclusive meeting place for people who support LHL’s purpose.
