Aristeia develops an emergency tourniquet for military and civilian trauma care. Extremity wounds are the most frequent injury type in modern conflicts. Through the proper use of tourniquets, however, it is possible to reliably stabilize patients for evacuation. The company works closely with the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment in the prototyping and has received funding from Innovation Norway, the Norwegian Research Council and the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defense.
