Clarion Hotel & Congress Trondheim
The 37th Nordic Congress in Medical Biochemistry program committee would like to raise the importance of innovation and industry collaboration to secure new developments and services. Norway Health Tech develops open innovation spaces where healthcare professionals and industry meet to discuss and initiate innovations and product developments. Melanor, consisting of the previous organization Lab Norge, are interested in increased product development and market access for their members.
To increase the focus on innovation – this year we will invite for a Makerspace Lab where health personnel, industry and students can come together to solve real challenges by developing new solutions and prototypes over two intense days of ideation and co-creation.
About the Makerspace Lab – Register your challenge now!
Have you ever thought “I wish I had…” a solution, thing or service that could solve a need and make your workday easier and more effective? We now invite you to register your challenge or unmet need for new solutions or products.
Norway Health Tech will set up a jury together with Melanor and St. Olavs Hospital. The Jury will consider each of the received challenges and select 3-4 of them for the Makerspace Lab during the Nordic Congress in Medical Biochemistry in June 2020. Here, we will invite the industry and students to a competition where they will form teams and work together with the challenge owners to develop new solutions and prototypes to meet the need. At the end of the event, there will be a pitching competition where the best ideas will be awarded.
Use the link below to register your idea before February 10th, 2020! Feel free to send us your extended description using this template via email as well. You might just end up with getting access to brilliant entrepreneurs to further develop solutions for your need.
The challenge owners are advised to not disclose any intellectual property when registering their ideas through the website. The chosen challenges will be published prior to the event to attract teams that could be interested in developing solutions. All intellectual property developed during the event itself will remain property of the creating team. The event organizers will not acquire any rights over the ideas created. All active participants in the event will be asked to sign an NDA.
