The EEA Grants and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthen bilateral relations between Norway and 15 EU member countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics.

One of the key areas of support is the program “Business development, Innovation and SMEs”. The program will be officially launched in 2018 and a call for project proposals for the component Welfare Technology/Ambient Assisted.

Bilateral partnership projects where private entities in Bulgaria/Poland/Slovakia and Estonia prepare and execute projects with Norwegian partners are very much encouraged. A travel grant will be offered to invite Norwegian companies/institutions to take part in order to establish partnership projects. Innovation Norway is appointed to be the Fund Operator in Sofia/Bulgaria.

Norway Health Tech, in cooperation with Innovation Norway, invite companies to participate in the matchmaking processes taking place in Sofia.

Norway Health Tech invites companies to come to Sofia in early June to find collaborating partners on the ground in Bulgaria. You will find out more about business possibilities within the health tech and medtech sectors and Bulgarian experts from the health sector will be available to meet with potential interested Norwegian companies while visiting Sofia in June.
