The DNB Healthcare Prize was awarded for the third time and the happy winners were Boneprox from the incubator Aleap.
The Aleap Member, Boneprox, won this year’s DNB Healthcare Prize of 1 M NOK – a huge amount for the new startup, just launching their product in the Norwegian market. The brothers Remman are introducing a tool for dentists to identify risk of osteoporosis at an early stage.
The final was a real final – 6 excellent companies pitched (in addition to Boneprox; Cardiaccs, OncoImmunity, Otivio, Tidewave and Vaccibody) – all worthy of winning. We even had a re-vote as three companies were coming up with the same amount of votes. But after a rather nerve wrecking few minutes, Trine Loe from DNB could announce the winners. And the winners were surprised and overwhelmed, but first and foremost extremely happy!
