Ideas coming out of this workshop are welcome to apply for the upcoming 2nd Cross4Health Open Call. Selected projects can receive support worth up to € 180.000 of direct cash funding and innovation services.

NorwayHealth Tech together with, Bergen Technology Transfer, Haukeland Hospital, Helse Vest-IKT, GCE Subsea, NCE Media and NCE Seafood invites you to an open Innovation workshop facilitated by Helse Vest-IKT where the aim is to bring together groups of entrepreneurs, startups, SME’s and health professionals, whom would otherwise not interact, to transfer knowledge and technologies across industries to unlock the collaborative potential for next-generation Healthcare solutions.

We believe that the solution to a problem or challenge may well be in “The Other Guy’s Toolkit”. In this workshop two challenges from the healthcare sector will be presented, as a starting point to discussions on potential technology transfer. Please see the attachments for a brief description of the challenges and info concerning IPR rules.

Challenge 1: Develop new ways of preventing uremia
Challenge 2: Hypothermia: “A silent killer going under the radar” The challenge of measuring the correct core temperature in sick or injured patients.
